The Cyprus Third Age Observatory, in partnership with the Office of the European Parliament in Cyprus and under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency, is hosting a European Political Conference on Active, Healthy and Dignified Ageing. This significant event will be held on December 8, 2023, at the Presidential Palace in Cyprus.
The conference will delve into a wide range of topics related to ageing, encompassing health, prevention, care, human rights, combating ageism, developing age-friendly cities, social inclusion, and the growing sectors of the silver economy and silver tourism, among others.
Recognizing the critical role of stakeholders and organizations in shaping ageing policies, the conference aims to discuss and share best practices that can be adopted at both European and national levels. These practices are geared towards empowering the ageing population to continue contributing meaningfully to society, younger generations, and the local economy.

Please note that space is limited, and priority will be given to organizations and institutions directly involved in ageing-related issues. The organizing committee reserves the right to accept or decline registrations.
The conference will primarily be conducted in Greek, with provisions for simultaneous translation to and from English.
