A heartfelt thank you to the UN and the city of Geneva for hosting the 1st Intergovernmental Working Group on the Rights of Older Persons (13–17 July 2026) at the Palais des Nations.
Proud to stand alongside AGE Platform Europe, the Global Alliance for the Rights of Older People (GAROP), and dozens of dedicated NGOs from around the world.
The Cyprus Third Age Observatory was honored to actively participate in the proceedings, with its Executive Chairman delivering an intervention during the session to advocate for systemic change and champion the dignity and rights of older persons globally.
