European Project AGES (Active Governance and Engagement for Seniors)

DEMOCRACY NEEDS EVERY VOICE — AT EVERY AGE.

We are proud to introduce AGES – Active Governance and Engagement for Seniors, a European project that promotes the democratic participation and civic engagement of older people across Europe.

Through consultations, focus groups, policy dialogue, conferences and an awareness campaign, AGES will bring together seniors, civil society organisations and policymakers in Cyprus, Spain, France and Italy, as well as at European level. The project aims to identify the barriers older people face in participating in democratic life, highlight their rights, and support more inclusive and responsive governance.

AGES is about making sure that older people are not only heard, but actively involved in shaping the conversations and decisions that affect their lives.
